ShelterBox in Canada explained--

Our own Rotarian Jean Cowper was our guest Speaker this week. Jean is the ambassador for this group in our area. Questions where raised what the difference is between her group and the new one Disaster Aid Canada.

20th Anniversary Club Project.--

Members of the Rotary Club of Sarnia Bluewaterland are working on a deal to pardner with the City of Sarnia in the building of a new Skate Board Park in Centennial Park. Ian Smith, Director of Community Services for the city spoke to bring us up to date of the involment in this project. This would be a project for the youth in our community. Our club already have with the help of the city built 4 playgrounds in parks around the city. Centennial Park, Canatara Park, Germain Park and Mike Weir Park.

New President- John Hus--

Rotary Club of Sarnia Bluewaterland installed their new president and officers at their annual installation meeting held at the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club on July 28th 2010. John Hus is the new president. This is his second term. He was president in 1994-1995.
