New Rotarian Chris West, Classification talk--

Our newest member Rotarian Chris West gave her classification talk to our club today. Chris works in the accounting division of the Canadian Coast Guard here in Sarnia. Welcome to our club Chris.

Great Discussions---

Today our meeting consisted of what is happening this weekend. The Book Sale and food booth operations at Centennial Park Sunday July 26th. On Saturday July 25th. while the Port Huron to Macinaw boats are passing into Lake Huron we will be raising the new flags at our Bridge plaza under the Bluewater Bridge with the help of the Sarnia Firefighters around 10. am. Come and join us.

District Governor Visit---

District Governor for our Rotary District 6330 Tanya Wolff made her official visit to our club this morning. She was accompanied by Assitant Govenor Area 5, Tom Robitaille. Tanya explained to our members what her goals are for this coming year. Our president Chris Cooke presented her with a brick that was placed at the Bluewaterland Rotary bridge plaza at the Bluewater bridge after this mornings meeting.

New Members Installed---

It's official. Chris West and John Hopman are our newest Rotarians at our club. They were installed this morning by our District Governor Tanya Wolff on her official visit. In this photo they are seen with their sponsors Judy Lamb and Chris Cooke. Welcome from all of us.

New President Chris Cooke Speaks---

Chris Cooke our new President for 2009-2010 chaired his first meeting for the year this morning. He outlined what he would like to see happen during his year in office. Key items are building our membership and great speakers.
