Former City Alderman Speaks---

The Rotary Club of Sarnia Bluewaterland welcomed it's newest member at their business meeting this morning. Sarah Luttrell of Sarnia, a Education Specialist is the daughter of former Rotarian District Govenor the late Jack Luttrell. Welcome to our Rotary family Sarah. Walter Petryschuck speaks
Walter Petryschuck, a well know local ratepayers' advocate told Rotarians the City is doing a terrible job of controlling costs. Petryschuck says the City's 2.8% budget increase is unrealistic in light of the growing economic recession.

Response to Observer Articles regarding Flag Project Pavers
The Rotary Club of Sarnia Bluewaterland regrets any inconvenience that may have been caused by the unforeseen weather conditions that prevented the fall installation of the brick pavers at the Bluewater Bridge. The Club is in the process of reviewing it's procedures regarding the installation of the brick pavers which currently are installed in a semi-annual basis. The Rotary Club of Sarnia Bluewaterland is a small club of 27 members which has contributed 4 playgrounds, 2 caravans, and has contributed to numerous other projects within the local community including the flag project located at the Bluewater Bridge Plaza.
